Executive Chef - Jesus Frias


“My life and my passion are to cook. I put my heart into every dish I make.”

Executive Chef Jesus Frias came to Press Box with over thirty years of experience in San Diego, spanning a wide variety of cuisines. After holding positions with Whispering Palms and The Torrey Pines Inn, he spent twenty years at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, serving as their Executive Chef for the last seven. Following his time there, he spent nine years as The Executive Chef of The French Market Grill in Rancho Bernardo. Chef Jesus has created our entire menu using only the freshest ingredients, and continues to amaze guests at Press Box with his daily specials made from scratch every morning.
